This is Day 1 of my move to Nashville. I decided to make it an adventure by skipping main highways and taking all back roads. It took a few extra hours but it was well worth it.
Abandoned Motel - 4K
This wasn't a planned video. On Day 2 of my drive to move to Nashville I happened to pick a road with this old, abandoned motel on it. As soon as I saw it, I knew what I had to do. I immediately pulled a U-turn and went back to capture this scene.
It was almost as if this was a movie set. It was perfectly weather warn and crumbling. I'm lucky it was the middle of the day and perfectly sunny out or I would have been terrified. Talk about the perfect haunted house.
Even with the sun high in the sky, it had a very erie feeling to it. I'm sure there are countless stories of travelers who have stayed there over the years trapped in the crumbling walls.
Nashville Park Adventure - VEDA Day 17
I thought there was a festival going on at this park today. There wasn't but it's ok because I still got to explore the park and do a little recon for potential upcoming photo shoots.
Florida Keys Vlog
This is the second part of Day 2 of my trip. I started out in Everglades National Park and ventured down to the keys. It's one of the most beautiful drives you'll find anywhere. I explored all the way down to the Seven mile bridge looking for a spot to make a sunset photo. I found a nice spot but unfortunately couldn't get the photo to turn out the way I wanted.
It didn't matter though. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed the adventure.
Have you been to the Florida Keys? Where is your favorite place to go in the Keys?

Rites of Spring - VEDA Day 16
I went to a concert on Vanderbilt University's campus called Rites of Spring. It's a two day festival but I only went on day 2, mainly to see Kat Dahlia and a little for Future. They were both great performances but there's something about Kat Dahlia's voice and the way she commands the stage that makes it even more entertaining.
Post Concert Thoughts - VEDA Day 14
I went to a concert for a 70's cover band named Yacht Rock Revue tonight. Afterwards I started thinking about their popularity and what they do. Singing songs they love every day. By the very nature of what they do, they are limiting their fan base but does that not matter if they can make a living doing what they love?
Recon Mission - VEDA Day 13
There's a photo in my head that I've been trying to get out since I move to Nashville. I've been to the state capital building at least 5 times trying to find the right angel and nothing seems to work. It's incredibly frustrating.
Have you had a situation like this? Tell me about it.
Camping Gear Christmas Part 2 - VEDA Day 12
I got the second shipment of camping gear which is a tent and sleeping pad. I now have my basic setup and I'm ready to do some camping. Of course I can't go this weekend, but I will hopefully be going in a couple weeks.
Let me know if you think I need an additional foot print for my tent. The tent has a bottom but I've heard that you always need a foot print. I have no idea.
Nashville Abandoned Factory - Vlog
This is a vlog for the drone video I posted yesterday. It was a very fun video to make. Exploring abandoned places is one of my favorite things to do with a drone.
Nashville Abandoned Factory - 4K
I found this abandoned factory a few blocks from my apartment and couldn't wait to explore it with my drone. This old building along the Cumberland river is both mysterious and beautiful. I had a great time exploring it and imagining what it was like in it's prime.
Where is your favorite place to explore old buildings?
