MONTGOMERY BELL STATE PARK CREEK

This was a cool, crisp Spring morning. The creek was flowing quickly following a night of steady rain. Clouds hung around in the air, but spared me any additional rain. I enjoyed sitting next to the creek, listening to the birds call to each other. In my mind they were sharing the happenings of a wild Friday night of partying. In reality, they were probably just letting each other know about the dumb human sitting below them.

CALMING FOG OVER FIELD

This video is great for relaxing, studying, reading or if you just need a break at work.

This was an early June morning just after sunrise. The fog was completely unexpected on my part, but I love the way it moves and plays with the field before retreating but never quite leaving completely.

GREAT EGRET DINNER

This beautiful Great Egret patiently stalked around this cove of Bledsoe Creek State Park looking for dinner. She (I actually have no idea if it’s a he or she) turned out to be quite the prolific hunter capturing two fish during the 30 mins or so that I spent with her.

Great Egret eating a fish as on an early summer evening.

This is the second catch of the evening for this Great Egret.
