Snow still holding on in July
Seeing snow on the mountain tops in summer will never get old to me. I lived in Colorado for a few years. I’ve spent a fair amount of time in the mountains. Every time I saw it then and every time I see it now, I still get a kick out of it.
I also like this photo because of the depth the mountains provide. It’s something you don’t get as much with a flat terrain like Florida.

Moraine Park
I got to visit Rocky Mountain National Park last year while on vacation with friends. This particular location is called Moraine Park. It’s a beautiful valley with an amazing river running through the middle of it.
I loved the way this tree stood out in the middle of the field. Dead but still standing strong against every imaginable natural force.
