The clouds ultimately betrayed me.

Alas, the clouds betrayed me and were too thick along the horizon. They blocked the actual sunrise, but did manage to give this cool funnel effect in this gap in the clouds at one point.

World's Fastest Cruise Ship Vlog

This was a beautiful (but still hot) December afternoon in Ft. Lauderdale. Despite the very loud bell it was a lot of fun capturing the Harmony of the Seas leaving port.

World's Fastest Cruise Ship

Large ships, especially cruise ships have always boggled my mind. I just don't understand how something so large can float, be so nimble and be so fast. And yes, I understand the science of it, but it still makes no sense to me. 

The view from the bridge at Port Everglades gives you the perfect vantage point to watch these giants ships leave port in a coordinated ballet.
